Eagles trading up one spot for a 5th? Is that some kind of sympathy for the ass kicking they gave the Chiefs?

Yeah no idea what the Falcons are doing moving that 2026 pick, could easily be a top 10 pick.

Chiefs get their tackle and an extra pick
So Browns gotta take Sanders @ 33, right?

Wonder if the Browns regret not taking Hunter now.
Getting Hunter and Sanders would have been very interesting and at the very least would have excited the fan base

I’m not sure. I think they are looking at drafting a better QB prospect next year.
If that’s the case, they should load up on linemen and linebackers.
https://www.cleveland.com/browns/202...t-rounder.html
Quote:
The trade, which saw the Browns select Michigan defensive tackle Mason Graham at No. 5, not only gave them two incredibly valuable picks at the top of Round 2 on Friday — No. 33 and No. 36 — but provides them with a powerful one-two punch to possibly package for a quarterback in a potential star-studded class next season, depending on who comes out.
Granted, the Browns can — and probably still will — draft a quarterback in this class, possibly on Friday in the second or third round. But the Browns have already stated unequivocally they’re not going to force a quarterback from this draft if he’s not there.
“We just felt like it was a fantastic opportunity for our organization to move down three spots, still get a top notch prospect in the trenches, adding a pick in what we view as really the sweet spot for this year’s draft class and then adding a first round pick next year in a class that, quite frankly we think will be a bit stronger in the first 30 picks,” Browns GM Andrew Berry said shortly after the pick was made. “We just felt like both in the short term and over a multi-year time horizon, it was a fit for what we wanted to do with the team and what we wanted to do with the roster. And we’re excited to add Mason. We’re excited to add the extra draft resources both this year and next.”
Of course, they’ll have to draft better than they did the last time they traded down from No. 2 in 2016. In that “Carson Wentz trade” with the Eagles, they wound up with 11 total picks when all the wheeling and dealing was done, but really only had four-time Pro Bowl cornerback Denzel Ward to show for it.

league's collective opinion on Sanders was on full display yesterday. He'll probably get picked early today, but that's quite the slice of humble pie there.

Not sure he is capable of humility.

Absolutely the right pick just like Bowers was last year. Raiders getting likely another day one difference maker. Drafting BPA >> drafting for need and to be fair RB was one of the Raiders biggest needs. They have the rest of this draft to look at guards, DB's etc. They got Jackson Powers Johnson in the 2nd round last year and he ended up being one of the best offensive linemen picked in the draft.

just so happy with the Harmon pick by the Steelers. Brilliant fit, a huge need ... and the cherry on top is that certain media people like Mel Kiper hate it because it's not Shedeur. I'm resigned to the fact that the old antivaxxer will sign at some point, but for me, that was a complete separate issue from the draft. I just don't see it with Shedeur, and I'm glad the Steelers agreed.
Here's a real gem from a couple of months ago, by the way. Just gold. Media have somehow pushed this narrative that he's a can't miss prospect, but the league obviously has a different view.
