4 assists tonight. Gonna go out on a limb and say he gets 100 points this season.
92 points in 54 games as a defenceman.

The last assist was pretty nasty on the Powerplay. Also made a great backhand lob pass which lead to the 6th goal. Would have had an assist if it wasn't a tick tack toe play by the forwards.

6th in league scoring and 19 points up on the next 2 defenseman who are tied at 73 points. A couple bums those 2 kids are, Sam Dickinson and Henry Mews .

He’s probably so good and fluid he probably doesn’t have too and those skills get stale. Like playing some bantam kids, if he has the puck the whole time he isn’t gonna learn much. How do you not build bad habits?

It was a joke at the people who keep talking about sending him back so he can work on defending.
It’s hard to defend when you have the puck on your stick for the majority of the game.
I think people need to watch Makar a lot closer. He’s the best because he’s a great skater and turns the play up ice and when he is defending he uses his stick well. When he’s pinned in he’s not the best but it’s rare that happens when he’s on the ice.

In 2025, Parekh has 52 points in 24 games played for a 2.17 PPG pace. Just crazy numbers.

Starting as early as next year, we are are gonna start seeing redrafts with Zayne going #2 overall.
The Blackhawks done goofed.

Perhaps my memory is off but wasn't Levshunov rated the top defenseman going into that draft? I thought it was pretty unanimous too.
I feel like the one who really goofed was Ottawa taking Yakemchuk at 7 because I'm pretty sure he was ranked lower than the next 4 defensemen taken in the draft (picks 9-12). Pretty early to tell who really goofed anyway.

Parekh/Bedard would’ve been MacKinnon/Makar for Chicago.
Levshunov is nothing special, certainly not offensively.
For a 2nd overall pick, he had better be able to do a lot of things Parekh can do, and he can’t.
