• UMass vs. Western Michigan is Saturday at 4:30pm MT
• Penn State vs. UConn is Sunday at 2:30pm MT

There are also some Calgary kids playing in the other regional finals:

• Cornell vs. BU is Saturday at 2:00pm MT -- Cornell has an undrafted d-man from Calgary with the incredible name of Nicholas Wolfenberg
• Denver vs. BC is Sunday at 5:00pm MT -- Denver has 4 players from Calgary, including the son of a certain taco-loving poster here

Speaking of: Carter King had a goal and 2 assists in Denver's win today over Providence.

Weakest major I have ever seen. Barely a penalty, the ref right next to them didn’t even raise his hand

Completely changed the game. Without Suniev, the 5 min pp was anemic. They had so little offense after going down 2-1

Erm those refs should watch their back for another Suniev cross-check delivered to their grandparents because my oh my was that a senior cross-check for the ages.

I'm curious if people commenting on the penalty are using the NHL standard for a hit from behind or the NCAA standard when judging the penalty?

I haven't watched a lot of college games in recent years, but that looks like a pretty standard call for that type of hit in the NCAA. They are very strict for hits to the head and hits from behind. They're almost always 5 and a game with pretty much zero tolerance.
