"Ivan Ryabkin is currently in a hotel in St. Petersburg and is preparing to leave for an away trip with the VHL team. He just arrived in St. Petersburg, where he met with the coaching staff of Dynamo (St. Petersburg). For now, I can't say anything about the legality of signing a contract in America.
We are currently consulting with the KHL, and have already discussed all possible scenarios. We also contacted Ryabkin's agent, who said that Ivan has no plans to go overseas," Sopin said in an interview with Championat correspondent Sergei Yemelyanov.

Nothing new here unless you missed Sandman's previous post; over at Upside Hockey's new Substack eNewsletter/blog we're highlighting our rankings and Sandman's prospect profiling talents - latest post:

When I was watching Luke Misa highlights leading up to the 2024 draft, I was like who is this Martone guy and why isn't he on everyone's list. Then I realized he wasn't eligible until 2025.
He already has 20 points in 9 games this season (10 goals, 10 assists).

Players I'm watching and have watched forever since babys.
Jackson Smitty - 'Uge Dman at Tri. Crazy shot. Quarterback, new style rover Dman but with lots of size and is still growing. Chris Pronger but more offensive.
Nathan Behmer - Mom is a skating coach in Calgary, weirdly intelligent player and snipes for days, sees the ice better at ice level than someone from above. Like a Michael Nylander/Huselius.
Cash Koch - Most likely to get a Gordie howe hat trick, Three fights, Three goals, three assists. Old style player who wears his heart on his sleeve with Saskie toughness, heavy shot and a rockstar fan favorite in Tri.

-6'3" D Jackson Smith of Tri-City, who many rank inside the first round, is tied for 21st in scoring by D (second for first-time eligible D) with 8 points in 10 games, along with 14 PIM. Another kid who looks like he's 30 years old.
-D Reese Hamilton has started poorly, with only 2 points, and a -5 in 10 games for the Hitmen.

I assume you mean Behm, he grew 2 inches and added 15-20 lbs since last year. I'm going to get some eyes on him in a couple of weeks to see if his 200 ft game has improved as he sometimes would get lazy in that department, you're right though, he always has had a good shot and IQ.

Very late birthday, missed the cut off by weeks. Martone is only two months older than Tij Iginla for example. When looking at his points you always have to weigh that birth date. Carter Yakemchuk was taken one spot after Tij but is almost a full year older.
Either way Martone is killing it though, even if you compare him to Tij Iginla they're both on absolute rips to start the season
