Definitely going to be NHL players in some respect.
Honzek
Needs a lot of work still could go either way
Brzustewicz
Interesting, I would have expected these guys to be flipped. Mostly skating for Brzustewicz? Honzek showing some flash or a big body that will be in the bottom six?

Encouraging to hear about Honzek for sure, im really excited to see what he can do when fully healthy.
Brzustewicz, to me, seems like he could be one of those guys that's just a gamer. Not necessarily dogging it in practice but just doesnt really stand out in drills, but then when the puck drops he's just really really effective.
Some notes from today’s sessions - I also have a bunch of video that I’ll post when I’m home.
Zayne Parekh’s shots don’t wobble - you can hear them ripping through the air like tiny black Kienzans.
Matvei Gridin has exceptional skills.
Andrew Basha moves his top hand up his stick when he’s stick handling in traffic. Didn’t notice anyone else doing this.
Sam Morton is excellent at tipping pucks.
Isa Parekh is an excellent skater and player in his own right, and if the Flames were to sign him, I would have zero issues. He also tapes his stick like his brother, so I wonder if that’s Zayne copying big bro.
William Stromgren didn’t have as impressive a day as yesterday, but I still think a guy like Pelletier will be in tough to win a roster spot over him.
Luke Misa is a really smart hockey player. It’s not easy to tell someone is focused from a hundred feet away through netting, but I could see it from him. In one drill the coach was dumping pucks into the corner and guys would go in and they’d bobble it or it would get by them. Misa was watching the puck come off the coach’s stick every time, timing it up. So when his turn came up, he didn’t bobble anything. One to watch, for sure.
Brzustewicz was better today, but still wasn’t seeing the “destroyer of worlds” offensively - Mews again looked better and played faster.
I didn’t pay too much attention to the goalies, but they also didn’t do much of note.
Once again, get hyped. I have never seen this much prospect talent in the Calgary Flames organization.
Matvei Gridin's skills will give Rimouski a a big shot at the Memorial Cup next year.

I don't think he's been traded to Rimouski (yet anyway) plus i saw some information on another forum that there might be a few other teams he could be traded to instead.
Are you hearing something more concrete? I'd hope it is Rimouski for the same reason you mention above

Honzek has size, speed and a really dynamite shot.
To use a oft used reference, he should be a Joe Colborne type as his floor. Big rangy with some skill. Whether he becomes more like Rantanen like the Flames scouts mentioned when they drafted him, is tbd, but he has those kind of skills. Whether they translate, too early to tell.
As for B-Stew, he has skills, but the engagement and skating are a little suspect compared to all the other d prospects. Was the worst skating D-man by a fair margin. Needs to show more than a small improvement if he wants to make the NHL.

Agreed. Some of these guys haven't skated for a month or two. It's development camp in July, very hard to judge each player right now.
He's also not a "toolsy" player. He's a guy that relies heavily on his IQ and vision which are much tougher to display in drills. It's nice to see these players up close, but development camp is borderline useless for player evaluation.
