Absolute bovine excrement. If Kardi does that high-speed elbow to a goaltender's head, it's a match penalty. I can see absolutely no excuse for not blowing the whistle there even if there is no penalty, because the goaltender has taken a hard blow to the head.

No, Vladar got up and was set. It was certainly a penalty but you can't challenge for a missed penalty, only a missed interference on the immediate goal itself.
It would 100% been called a goal with another Flames penalty.
