I think last night's game really showed the Flames are a RW short. Push Toffoli down to the second or third line and I think you have a true contender. Having said that, any news of Kylington's return? I think once he returns and gets into game shape that a trade could take place.

Can't recall where I read/heard it but it's safe to be expecting to see Shilly out for the year.

Like I said, I can't recall where I got that.

Edit: read it when the question came up about how the league would let the Flames handle Kylingtons situation, would they be allowed to put him on LTIR? So maybe last week or the week prior when that topic was floating about.

Skinner is going to be the #1 G in Edmonton before the season is done, and then they're going to have to make some really stupid moves if they want any chance at keeping him

So many positives last night. I felt like Mangiapane took that jump last year where he knew he belonged and could impose his will.

I know it's early, but Dube looks different. Not trying to do everything himself anymore. I can't imagine how good this team could be if he makes a similar jump.

Did Kylington attend any if the training camp?

I hope that doesnt hinder his performance if/when he comes back.

Wow. If that is true that could really affect his career. Obviously it must be very serious if that’s the case.

Yes. They must play McDavid and Pissy more.

Yeah, VGK is 3-0 with victories over those juggernauts LA, Chicago and Seattle.

Well, unfortunately it will, and there is nothing that can be done about it.

10 minutes into the 1st period and McDavid-Draisaitl-Kane are out together, and that's how they stayed for the res of the game. It's Woodcroft's only move!

Dube looks bigger and stronger, as does Hanafin. But Dube is bringing speed and tenacity into his game in a major way here, like having the support of other fast, tenacious guys has unleashed something. That line was crazy good.

The top line was less visible, and I don't know if it's because they are playing against the top defenders on the other side or if we are just seeing them get used to each other and things aren't quite clicking yet. But how nice is it to have a second line that is just terrifying, and to see a strike-type team like the Oilers just reeling from being counter-punched? Lovely stuff.

It was the last guys only move too. I remember him playing the twin whiners for the last 5:30 of a game against the flames last year. No break. I couldn’t believe it.
