Yes, but it was a possession killing drive to the net and flubbed shot with a useless effort in retrieval that have up the pick in the first place. And it happens all game long

I thought he actually made a good play collecting the puck behind the net, but the ref got in the way.

I am really surprised how incompetent are these Flames’ at some games. Some games they come out flying and hitting and causing lots of turnovers. Tonight they are playing like not not get blown out. No structure and just dump the puck in and go for the line change. It is baffling

The Flames have 21 scoring chances and 7 high danger chances in 5 periods against the Leafs 5v5.

They had 27 scoring chances and 9 high danger chances at 5v5 in their 7-3 loss against Edmonton.


They've matched or bettered those numbers in each of Sutter's first 4 games alone.

This has been back-to-back pathetic showings against the Leafs (just like their last back-to-back). This is the complete opposite of Sutter hockey

Sutter will be at worst 4-2 after six games against playoff teams. Obviously better than Ward.

There is that rule when your team is in the 7th year of a rebuild and you do not have any forward depth. Other options that Darryl could try from the press box are Nordstrom and Simon.
