We came close on that goalie if rumours are to be believed.

So maybe not that hard.

Wow. First I hear the team is telling Tkachuk they won’t support him if he keeps up with his usual antics, and now Gelinas is telling him to quiet down on the bench?

I’m flabbergasted. I don’t even know what to say at this point.

This is not a team. This isn’t the Calgary Flames that I grew up cheering for. I’m embarrassed.

Was Chucky mocking the rest of the team by cheering on that fight so much?

After what the supposed team meeting was about I wouldn't be surprised.

Honestly, how long until Tkachuk asks for a trade?

Pro tip: it’s not (okay, it might be if we had an actual NHL caliber coach)

Never have I turned off games this early in the season before this season.

Last night was a breaking point for me. That was inexcusable. 55 soft on the boards and giving McAvi that puck, the defensive breakdowns in front leaving guys wide open to score at will... Enough is enough. There has to be consequences.

Leadership group being built around Giordano and Backlund is clearly an issue, and one this team can’t overcome.

I don’t care if they “care” and “hate losing”, their on ice performance has never been able to harness emotion and play effective when things get difficult. When this team needs to punch back, we have no one to lead the charge. Tkachuk is trying to be that guy, and he looks like the jagged nail that needs to be hammered down to be in line with the rest of the absolute garbage.

I hate the culture of this team, and it’s 100% on Treliving, the coaching staff, and the leadership group in the locker room.

There is no Gelinas clip. I can't even find it mentioned on Twitter.

Even if there was, how could we know what he's saying

I can’t believe I’m saying this... but we miss Ryan on the bottom 6.

Goes without saying we miss Monahan big time.

Let's see kylington on the bottom pairing while we are at it.

This team isn't winning squat this year, as usual. Might as well see what they got outside the roster.

You absolutely don’t bring in any more rookies to experience the Wardo ####show. The guy cannot coach and makes terrible decisions (see Gawdins first NHL shift against McDavid)

Wards been great at one thing, that’s destroying the confidence of our young players.

I don’t want to see anymore confidence destroyed.

I think a game or two for Valimaki in the press box and Kylington in. Just give Valimaki a chance to reset and get back to where he was 4-5 games ago.

Ward’s guilty of a lot of things, but having last change and Gawdin being stuck against McDavid isn’t one.

We need something new energy wise. But yeah, I don’t trust Ward whatsoever with the young guys.
