Just like the nfc championship game call expanded nfl replay to include pass interference calls, this will do the same for hockey.

I rarely watch games on tv the Flames are done, so just followed this on the score app and couldn’t believe it. And to find out the penalty was a borderline 2 min call is sickening.

No not pathetic. I admit it shouldn’t be a 5 min penalty. I just more want to emphasize that Eakin had no business crosschecking him there. 10 minutes left in a 3-0 game. Stupid play and it cost them.

Fast play like that and resulting playing on the ice, I can see how the refs saw what they thought they saw

I’m not saying they should have got 5 min, but a stupid play by Eakin nontheless

I would have just pulled Fleury on that SJ penalty and had it 6 on 4. Anyone else?

There was no reason to chosscheck him that high in a face off, chest or head whatever. He just didn’t need to do it. I hate how so many players get the stick up when hitting or taking a hit. Eakin got burned on it.

he pushed him in the chest, that literally happens every face off...pavelski was lost his balance and Statsny hit him...
