Dillon is one of a few IQ challenged defenseman- hard cross check a guy into your own goalie then goes after him for doing so. Stupidest play on earth. Shades of Polak and others. Though if the ref isn’t going to call anything maybe not to stupid...

This was a good period. A little bit of sloppy play in our zone, but other than that we have been playing a great game. I love that we have turned up the physicality in this game and have been forechecking rather well.

They looked the same last night vs Vegas.

Ridiculous broadcasters too, trying to “gotcha” Vegas for distancing themselves from the city by not going by ‘Las Vegas’.

Lethbridge just won in overtime 7-6. If anyone wanted to know.

I agree. She's average at worst. Not my favorite, but we could have so much worse than her. How about dragging down Rick Ball's calls with some good ol' Charlie Simmer color commentary like we used to have.

She's a little like The Scorpion in a way.

At first, came off as grating and seemed to not know anything of value.

But over time, he/she has slowly found their voice including when and where to speak up and add something.

Since brevity is the soul of wit wisdom, now both bring something meaningful to the table.

I guess the moral is: Have patience with people who are just trying to do a good job. In time, it will pay dividends.

This is no comment on Smith's play and apologies if this has already been addressed, but is there any idea why Rittich is playing so infrequently lately? I thought for sure we'd see him tonight. Peters seems to be sending the message that Smith is the guy for the playoffs. I don't agree with that. The team has played great for BSD and he's paid them back in full. He deserves it.

I actually watched the entire 1st period on mute and was listening to my google home even after the 3 goals. So next commercial i stupidly rewound my pvr to rewatch the goals.

Rick Ball is giving his all calling all 3 goals, the shark tank is dead quiet, yet Campbell waits like 5 seconds before talking. Awkward.......

the best was the 2nd goal.
- "Jankowski scores!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!"
- awkward 5 seconds of no announcing.
- lower case "wow....." in her boring Monahan voice..

Cassie is okay, if she'd cut her words in half. The old K.i.s.s adage would help her.

Well, he did play the last one and won, but I think it's just them trying to keep both guys fresh and winning. Both are certainly confident right now. I think we'll see Rittich in the next one.

Haha, not a bad analogy. She did really bother me in her first year, just didn’t capture the emotion or flow of the game at all. But I have really grown to like her, although it’s always tough to shake first impressions
