It’s not spin and I don’t need a google search to understand how the Astros were built. They were bad. Previous ownership and management spent money on bandaids and emptied out the farm system. New ownership prioritized scouting, analytics and patience.
The difference between Astros and Cardinals? Cardinals have been doing it like that forever and Astros only since Luhnow became GM and Crane’s ownership group took over.
Teams that tank trade away talent under team control in effort to lose.
