smith was so weak on that goal. hope they put some up on the board early in the 3rd so smith doesn't make it too interesting

Domination. If the first line could find some luck and pot a few, this would be a beat down. Flames kept coming in waves and waves and haven’t let the foot off the gas.

Smith and his puck handling has been key to allow the waves of Flames push into the zone to continue to occur.

CGY can up the pace this period and hopefully extend the lead. Just skate and play hard. Unfortunate mistake for GA but just need to make sure.

Keep it up!!!

Not sure about that. The original question was posted by Trailer Fire

And then textcritic answered zero.

Zero. I have seen the Flames do it at least twice.

East west passes are 100% his game. He is not a drive the net kind of guy.

I am all for him keeping up the royal road passes, that is how the first line and the PP generate their offence.

But I do agree that when he is not totally on his game, those passes don't work. But they require teammates moving through the offensive zone with speed too.

Such confidence for such young players.
They must be the best puck-moving third defence pairing in the entire league, no?

Still not great or fine

Zero shots in a game? Did that really happen?

Ps, Flames are killing it.

And made a zillion outlet passes to start the offense going.

He's been very good.

Textcritic...can you clarify if you meant 0 shots in a game or 0 shots in a period?

I agree but it sure makes that line a defensive shutdown beast.

How Eric Francis has a job as a hockey analyst is beyond me.

It's not a low-scoring league anymore.

Refs need to start watching the game imo

I don't know how they missed that charge earlier.

And that non-icing call was awful.
