Puck chip technology would have answered that goal/no-goal call

I love how Oilers fans and media think the it's a great thing when standing up for themselves when they goon it up but when the Flames play a clean and tough period they are up in arms about the big bad Flames. Whiniest media in the NHL.

No argument as he went to the box. That was intent to hammer Gio from behind and it's thankful Gio didn't get out head first in the boards, and Kassian would've been booted.

Overall great road period. 14-5 shots. Just stick with it. Stay disciplined and be more direct by attacking the net. Defensively move the puck fast and beat the forecheck

lol @ Kassian in that interview with that generic answer

Did he even comprehend the first question Scott Oake asked him?

LOL and a hit from behind near the boards is fine. Kassian knew what he was doing and if Gio went face first into the boards that mouth breather wouldn't have hesitated.
Nope...that was the best save I’ve seen this season.

I don’t think Kassian could throw another cliche iut there if he tried.

Did Kassian just call Scott Oake 'Pat'? What a laureate.

Wait Scott, aren't all the saves the reason it's scoreless, not just that one?

Johnny on the ice could probably see the puck in his glove through the mesh but you cant see that level of detail from the crossbar cam. Not much can be done about it though.

it's more likely than not that the puck was in the net...almost certain it fell into the webbing. They can't call it a goal but still

Let's be real, that was an excellent save by Koskinen. Great display of athleticism and awareness.

Those hits can be the riskiest - a few more inches and Gio's head would have hit the boards! Just thankful it was nothing.

Even if that’s true—I am not convinced you saw what you thought you saw—that is not enough to call a goal. There also needs to be clear evidence of separation between the pick and the goal line. The call on the ice was a good one.
