Yup. I thought they were skating well early. It all fell apart when a routine weak shot from the outside found the back of the net. It's one thing to be afraid of making a mistake but to be afraid of keeping a guy to the outside? Then you're really playing right...

They were fine until that 1st goal. You could see the team just say "here we go again" knowing they were going to have to outscore their terrible goaltending.

You can do that for a few games until your guy gets back on track, but at some point, when you don't see that guy come close to being a decent contributor, you start to give up.

I can't blame them honestly. The very definition of "deflating goal".
