So very excited for this game tonight. From an Astros fan perspective, I think I know Hinch's game plan. Go with Verlander for as long as possible, and if you have the lead use McCullers for a multi inning save opportunity.
With the risk that if McCullers blows the save, you used up your best option for game 7. Then it's a mixture of Morton, Kuechel and anyone whose arm hasn't fallen off.
If Astros get behind, you won't see McCullers in game 6 IMO.
For the Dodgers, yo have to believe hat at least Morrow will be given a rest. Anyone else could be available for tonight. Kershaw is a likely game 7 relief candidate.

Let's use Brando Morrow for a 6th time...

Another fabulous ball game.
So good to watch as a fan with no dog in the fight...even tho im cheering Astros all the way, a game 7 would be just fine.

Three innings in a row with 2+ runners stranded for the Astros. Good pitching from Dodgers today.

Six out saves are a lot easier when you get the first three outs on seven pitches.

Difference in the game so far is that Dodgers string their hits together for their runs while Astros missing the clutch hit. Verlander was spectacular but for one inning.
I can’t believe how Roberts uses his bullpen. Worked perfectly so far in this game.

I thought pulling Hill when Roberts did was a mistake, but that was a pretty dominant bullpen effort overall, Jansen especially. Both teams have fought back from adversity a few times this series, and it'll be the Astros turn to respond tomorrow. This was a winnable game, they had a couple golden chances to extend their lead and really give Verlander some room to work, but couldn't cash. No way they'll top last year's Game 7, but it should be good.

^ yep 2nd and 3rd nobody out, winning by a run. You expect to extend the lead there.

Normally I would agree, but the way the rest of the series has gone, I'm almost expecting it!

Doesn't seem like either starter is getting very far tonight. While it is early, it could be the game right here with the bases loaded.

Say goodnight. Darvish just serving up meatballs all night. I know this has been a crazy series, but we were due for a dud. Dodgers were quite cocky coming in tonight so they're emotionally devastated. No shot they come back.

Two on, no out.
Needed a couple there.

Classy Dodger fans booed Darvish off the field.
