Somewhat off topic but is this ad space that hard to sell that the only ads all game have been TSN promos and some stupid mobility chair? Seems weird that a big prime time game like this has ads more suited for a 3am episode of Motoring TV or a Sunday morning episode of a fishing show.

The entire afternoon/evening consisted of two different commercials that I recall. That stupid Acorn chair and a Federal Government ad not to drive while high on pot. I was wondering the same thing. Doesn't bode well for future broadcast games in Canada if this is all they could muster for advertising, and that would be hugely disappointing if we lost even more games.
Rose Bowl:
Hugely entertaining game even if I am disappointed at the outcome. That flubbed squib kick at the end of the first half turned out to be the difference. But props to the Georgia defence, they completely shut down the Sooners in the second half. Mayfield had absolutely nobody to throw to it seemed. First game the Sooners have ever lsot when scoring 30+ points in the first half and only the second game the Dogs have ever won when giving up more than 45.
Sugar Bowl:
Absolutely dominating performance by Alabama. They took full advantage of their second chance and are the team to beat next week now, pending the severity of the two injuries they sustained. They were banged up all year on D and last night was one of the first games in a long time they played with their season starters and man oh man are they good. Georgia will have their hands full.
Peach Bowl:
Fabuluous finish for UCF and a great way for Scott Frost to end his tenure there as a coach. Very impressive win over a good Auburn team and a great game to watch.
One more game to watch and for once the football and hockey gods have cooperated and I can see it. Hopefully it delivers.
