If Backlund has a broken foot that will be devastating.

If there is one forward this team can't afford to lose, it's Backlund.

pretty hard to draw a penalty with a 2 goal lead in the third period in the NHL

I've taken a shot to the same spot in a beer league game and limped for a week and a half, couldn't imagine how much it'd hurt from an NHLer

Definetly two standards of officiating out there tonight. Very frustrating.

A lot. Just saying it probably ain't broken. Not only a wrister but he did put weight on it for a while, plus try to skate again this period.

Every goal we scored was a fluke goal. Fluke goal if you call effort a fluke!
Avs goalie is standing on his fn head. Score should be 8 - 2. Feel sorry for the Avs goalie.
Stands on his head and allows 4 goals in one period.
Backlund, respected him before, new found respect for him now.
Elliot has been solid.
Deja Vu with the Iggy onetimer ! A shot I want on this team, sniper type shot. Still dont want Iggy back though!

its how this league is, will rarely give the leading team a PP in fear of a blowout. Manufactured results for parity.

Elliott has made some great saves on sneaky shortside shots.
I feel like Flames goalies in general have been victimized by those the last several years.
