Engelland goes right to Dorset when he grabs Tkachuk.
He has done a great job of patrolling the ice for our boys so far this season. I have nothing but good to say about him.

I wouldn't say we were outplayed at all here, we weren't great at all, but Vancouver is just so much worse. Baby steps, Flames, baby steps.

When you sign somebody in UFA, you hope you can keep it relatively reasonable while filling a needed hole in the lineup/organization.
Frolik, Brouwer and Engelland have been exactly that.

Hopefully the Flames make a handshake deal and then sign him after the expansion draft.

Yeah I'm not worried about that line. 2/3s of it missed the entire training camp, and Monahan missed most of it. I've liked Vertseeg so far, they just haven't clicked yet

Ok period, but nowhere near where we need to be. Flames look like they're trying too hard not to make a mistake and gripping their sticks. 1st line continues to be a non-factor, which is very worrisome.
