What the **** is with Colborne being the extra attacker, and why did Brodie throw the puck up to him like there was 5 seconds left in the game? Brodie's been too quick with all his passes tonight.

Colborne the softest big body player there is, certainly when it comes to puck control. Pushed off the puck as easily as Backlund.

Nothing wrong with Brodie moving it up. Problem was that Colborne immediately gave it away.

I think people have to give the Wings a tiny bit of credit for playing a masterful game. I am pretty sure the Flames were forced into most of their mistakes by a great effort from the Wings. Too bad the Wings didn't play that game against the Canucks and crappy against the Flames, but that is what happens. Good game Detroit.

Detroit did a good job of forcing the game to the wall where they were able to dominate the Flames

Colborne has been awful the whole season. He just occasionally gets on the boxscore on Stajan-driven rushes so people brush off his awful defense and momentum-killer offensive zone turnovers. However Mason Raymond is starting to pass him on the depth chart lately...
