The thing is, there are 2 other defense pairings out there. They have looked miles better, but experience beats actual competence.

c'mon, that is just a straight up idiotic statement. You have to be smarter than that.

Miles better? The Flames have been in their own zone 90% of this game. I feel like if the other 2 pairings were miles better that wouldn't be the case. They have been better but I would expect that from our remaining d fighting for a position.

Only the third goal was a little weak. He's been fine.

Randy Sportak @SUNRandySportak
#Flames say Colborne won’t return tonight. “Upper body” is as specific as we get as of now.

He and Wotherspoon have been solid this game. Seiloff has his moments but seems to fall a lot.

Kulak has impressed me the most. I see a lot of Brodie in him and a surefire NHLer. Sure he has some defensive gaffs but Brodie was known to make 1-2 rookie mistakes per game and would still make up for it. Hope Kulak can develop in a similar trajectory.

Reminder. There will be a 3 on 3 OT regardless of final score.

solid goaltending by Ortio while the Flames are coughing up puck after puck.

The skill disadvantage for the Flames becomes even more apparent when it is 4 on 4.

Man, lipon is taking some runs out there.
Right on the edge like ferland was playing in the playoffs.

Man, can you stop with the constant Engelland hate It is noted, stop beating the dead horse already. Going to be a long year if you can't get a handle on it because he is not going anywhere.

There's only two or three of you on here that are so hard on him but you post so much smack about it it feels like dozens.

3 on 3 OT will be a treat.

I have a feeling it will be very short unless Ortio channels his inner Kipper.

I agree, the Flames roster is Oiler bad tonight. Only so much you can do as a goalie.
