In a word... Domination. By that I don't mean "a big Alliance formed early that runs the game start to finish" because seasons where we have a big alliance can be interesting because eventually the big alliance has to turn on itself.
My two least favorite seasons are One World and Redemption Island and the common thread amoungst those two is that they both featured a completely dominant player. Someone who controlled the game from start to finish, was never in any real danger, and "looked" like the winner almost from episode one. I mean did anyone think that someone other then Spradlin or Mariano were winning those seasons after the 2nd or 3rd episode? A game without any legitimate competition isn't really a game worth watching.
