Heh, I love Bautista's home run celebration when returning to the bench. Awesome.

Don't know what happened to Estrada there - hopefully it was just a weird blip. Good on him to induce the double play there.

Yeah, forget it and just go back out there and throw.

Bottom line: 47 pitches through 4 and the bottom of the order up

Bullpen is rested and tomorrow's an off-day.

I would think Gibbons would be pretty quick to go to the pen today

Edit: (on trouble - obviously it's a low-pitch-count shut-out at this point)

Man Pillar is having a bit of a tough time hitting the baseball lately. That bunt tells me he is fighting it.

So many detestable players on the Yankees.
Stephen Drew, Jacoby Ellsbury, A-Rod.

Kelly Gruber was a big deal too - the first and one of only two guys to hit the cycle (Jeff Frye being the other).

And Jimmy Key is probably my all time favorite Jays pitcher.
Forgot one: rance mulliniks. A great hitter

A Rod is a given...but what have Drew and, in particular, Ellsbury done?

I was 8 when the Jays won in 92 and I wish I had more of an emotional connection to the WAMCO days but I don't think I really understood how loaded those Jays teams were. However I do remember them winning in 93. One image I have seared in my memory from 93 is Stottlemyre wearing a coat on first base.

Ahhh....I guess I don't care where players have played before and I have a slight affinity for the Red Sox.

Ellsbury is the first Na###o native American to ever play in the majors, so I like him for that and just the way he plays the game....dude is a baller.

Aside from Alomar, Carter, Fernandez, Steib and others, Tom "The Terminator" Henke is one of my favorite Blue Jay. He was that good and definitely can intimidate a lot of batters with his fast pitch.
