I've lurked the Canucks a couple times this year and apparently Vey has been a bit of a whipping boy this year. So that bodes well for us.

With Vrbatta joining the twins, that line does concern me a bit.
However the rest of their lines don't, so I think it's a case of shut them down and win or don't and lose.

Haha, thanks for the laugh. Poor Sven, I was hoping he would play tonight and learn what it is like to get hit by a freight train, too bad.
Vey hasn't been very good this year I guess so maybe it isn't a bad move from a flames perspective.

So I'm assuming Vrbata moves to the top line. Probably a move that could have been made already. Does this mean Willy finally plays his top line for more than 16 mins?

All their offensive eggs in one basket.
Yeah, I can live with that if I'm Bob.
Fish in a barrel my friend, that line is the fish, and Ferland is a stick of dynamite Fish in a barrel.

If the Flames can win tonite, the Canucks will be completely on the ropes. Flames in 5 becomes a real possibility.

If them calling him "softest player in the NHL" or "terrible" in today's game thread, then yes, he's a whipping boy.

Vrbata has been terrible in the first three games, looks horribly slow and lost out there. Not to worried about him moving up with the Sedins if that is what they do. Defensively that line will be slow and weak.
I liked the Vey trade at first but now it looks terrible. The guy is fast and that's about it.

So if Sven was called up before the Burrows incident, it was already likely he or Vey would slot in. Now with Burrows gone, wouldn't it be great if they both joined the fun.

Would love it if they took out Kenins for Sven. Him and Horvat have been the Canucks best forwards so far.

Kenins shouldn't be pulled. But if they think Sven's got something to prove against the Flames, then by all means, put him in there. Nothing could possibly be better.

There were rumours Kenins was hurt.
Then again Horvat isn't 100% either.

Surprisingly, Kenins looked decent. I am fine with swapping him out. Haven't followed Vey at all this year, but surprised at how poor his numbers are. Byron like, playing 20 more games.
