No question the Islanders are a very good team, but I wouldn't say the Flames have been outclassed. I think the Flames beat themselves tonight more than anything. They played with zero urgency in the first half of the game, and their terrible PP failed to capitalize. Also Halak has made a couple of game saving stops in this period.

Would have liked to see a time out on that icing before the second goal. And some more line juggling, like when we were trailing last game.
If I were Hartley though I'd be infuriated by the work ethic tonight. That's the only way they can win, they're not good enough to win on talent alone.
Edit: Another empty net goal. Gonna get interesting again.
