Did anyone go to Kimberly or Whitefish over the weekend? Trying to decide if it is worth heading to either this weekend.

I was supposed to go to Whitefish this weekend, but am taking the option. They just haven't got a bunch lately. We've had snow fall in south western Alberta and south east BC has got some as well. Kimberley has had 15cm in the past 24 hours and it's supposed to stay cold for the rest of the week. So minimal chance for further powder, but it's at least adequate

Another 15 cm for Kimberly means there might actually be a bit of a base now as it dumped 20 cm two weeks ago too.

I was in Revy and Sun Peaks over the weekend and it was the worst conditions I've ever experienced at both resorts. Both mountains were covered in a sheet of ice and it wasn't even warm enough during the day to soften it up.
Really depressing year, hopefully things pick up for spring.

So how was Grizz Days? I'm so sad that I missed it this year. Always a blast!

I was in Jasper a week and a bit ago, and it was by far some of the best skiing i have done in a while. fresh snow, and mild temps. Right now it is the place to go

Anybody been to Lake Louise or Sunshine this week or last? Any snow?
I haven't been to LL yet this year - has it been any good?

I was at Sunshine last week. I wouldn't say there was new snow, but there wasn't a lot of melting going on. IMO its the best hill at the moment. Not a ton of ice either. Some slippery spots off of Goats Eye (where those 2 massive boulders are), but otherwise it was beautiful when I was there. My best ski do so far this year. If you're going to go somewhere, Sunshine is the place to be.

Had a great day on Sunday. No lift lines. Snow is decent on the main runs. Getting slushy at the bottom. Sticking to Gold Chair after noon is good idea.
No new snow since last Monday.

apparently panorama got something like 40 cms of snow over the past few days.
Our families ski season is done as my son has a hockey tournement this weekend, we are away the following two weekends and then the spring sprts kick into gear.
Moved all of the polesand boots into the basement on the weekend and will put the skiis in bags and move them up into the rafters in a couple of weeks.
