Miami leads 2-1.

weak goal by gillies but kind of understandable as the shot came off the boards at a weird angle and wasn't quite set

Scoring comes later, the whole reason he went to providence was to hone his all around play. Pumped to hear folks praise his defensive prowess.

but he doesn't score a point per game, so he's a bust.

I don't think anyone has said he's a bust. That is just taking any criticism of him and making up your own take on it. The thing is that IIRC his biggest supporters expected him to be a PPG player by his junior year. Now that he isn't, the step back take on him is that he's a great defensive player. He may be but that wasn't the original prognosis of why he was drafted and it's a little too early in his career to get type cast as such. I'm hoping he goes back for his senior year and finds his scoring touch.

3-2 Friars.

Jankowski was on the ice for that goal too, but won't pick up an assist.

Jankowski +2.

Providence taking over the game.

Jankowski's line with major possession time in the offensive zone.

BU is dominating the third period so far, but haven't been able to score. Still 2-2 with less than 10 minutes left.

Pinho scores 4-2 assist by Accari who does most of the work

Providence absolutely dominating this period. Think announcers said Miami has only had one SOG this period.

less than 8 minutes left in the 2nd.

Acciari makes it 5-2

Goalie change coming for Miami

Watch out for Acciari after this season, Flames have been interested him in the past.

There are no more series. It's all single game eliminations.

If they win today, they'll play Denver tomorrow in the Regional Final. The winner of that game will go to the Frozen Four.

If they lose any game, their season is over.

If providence wins this game they play Denver tomorrow. The winner of that game will go on to play the frozen four in Boston April 9-11.

BU scores a late PP goal.

Terriers up 3-2 with about 2:30 left.
