Good news: our offense looks stacked. Granlund, Ferland, Bennett, Gaudreau, Klimchuk all look like they will play in the NHL.
Bad news: our defense looks awful. Kanzig looks like the only one that may crack the lineup. We really need some more d-prospects with higher upside

Sieloff has a better chance of cracking the Flames roster someday, imo.
He pretty much missed all of last year, so its no surprise that he looks rusty.

Eh, first game in a long time for these kids, especially Sieloff (Who I think will absolutely make the Flames one day)
The difference in the first half and second half of this game has been night and day, let's give the kids a break

indeed. the d struggled to move the puck, and just actually seem lost all over the ice. i guess some of that needs to be discounted with the fact that there has been no real practice time or chance to figure out their partners or the systems.

for sure, wouldn't be fair to do any judging of Sieloff for atleast a few months. We can still see the foundation of players like Bennett or Gaudreau, on D there's not much to see today. Hope you guys are right about Sieloff making it, I've never watched him play.

Kanzig looks good in front of the net. That reach is going to give him a valuable edge, plus he just bulldozes anyone who gets close to the crease. I like his upside.
