I'm happy to hear that Huff is starting Tate, no need to rush Mitchell and with the bye week after the Riders game, it gives Bo plenty of time to heal fully. All Drew Tate needs to do is manage the game and avoid turnovers. Feed the rock to Cornish and see if the Riders D can stop him.

I am glad Huff has chosen to start Tate.
That way there can be no "Our third string QB vs your Starter... with Durant in the lineup we would have crushed you guys" out of Rider fans when we spank them by 14+

there's the argument that
BLM > Tate
Durant >>>>>>>>>> Doege
Doege is a 3rd string QB who's only been with Sask for this season only. There's a huge gap between him and Durant compared to a BLM/Tate difference

In a way it's good Drew Tate will be the starting QB so in case something happen to BLM in the playoff Tate would be still be sharp for playing 3 games in the season. I just hope Drew Tate play gets better this time and he starts producing against his former team. I bet him and Hugh Charles(if he plays) will be fired up against the Riders. Charles especially after being cut by that team. BLM will also have extra 2 weeks to recover since they have a bye week on Week 16.
I bet Rider fans were asking, what if Drew Willy didn't go to Winnipeg this season? So, they are starting the first year QB Doege over the 2nd year QB Tino Sunseri?? Sunseri's game must have suck last game.

Pssshhh, if the Stamps win by less than 30 I'm taking it as a moral victory

Sunseri has been that bad. but the funnier thing is, Doege isnt too far behind, so really it's choosing the shiniest of two turds.
Even that TSN interview, he has that lack of confidence look.
Rider fans know without Durant, Riders sucks

If they get shut out for the second week in a row, they should be called the GREENWHITES and Ottawa can be the Rough Riders.

Actually, quite the opposite:

Steven Jyles 2.0 according to Rider fans. Hah... that place is great... a train wreck but great none the less.

I guess it was just a temporary ban for Area51 over at RF.com - They probably like the web traffic he generates.

Cornish 21 yrds away from the top, so ridiculous how quickly he's racking up the yards.
Also wanted to say again how much I loathe the new TSN website, as a stats fan I'm also super annoyed at how they removed important things like GP from individual stats, even CFL.ca has the same issue.
Idiots.

Stamps *should* win Friday regardless of who the Riders have at QB. Durant was one of, if not the worst starting QBs in the league this year so even if he was healthy the Stamps are a far better team. With Tate in there against whoever (Sunshine or Doodie) is should be an easy win.
The real question is will the classless Prider fans pelt the Stamps bench with empty beer cans like they did to BC a few years ago...

By the end of the week, Cornish would be #1 unless Grigsby have a huge game for Winnipeg. Amazing! The guy missed 7 games and will still get the rushing lead after tomorrow night's game. Whitaker hasn't miss a game yet this season.
Yep, I hate that TSN new site as well I stopped going there.

I totally missed this:
http://calgary.ctvnews.ca/video?clip...ylistPageNum=1
Scott Mitchell@SUNMitchell · 13m13 minutes ago
No one wanted to talk about Drew Tate's comments the other day regarding Dave Dickenson's play calling... #CFL
Scott Mitchell@SUNMitchell · 13m13 minutes ago
Asked Tate to elaborate... "No, I can't. That's unfortunate that it ended up that way, but we'll worry about that later." #CFL
Scott Mitchell@SUNMitchell · 12m12 minutes ago
Huff on Tate/Dickenson: “Ask Drew about what that's all about. I have no comment." #CFL
Scott Mitchell@SUNMitchell · 9m9 minutes ago
Seems they're pulling the taken-out-of-context card, but not in so many words. Very bristly and defensive. Why not just explain it? #CFL
Scott Mitchell@SUNMitchell · 9m9 minutes ago
Full disclosure: I was off that day, so all I have is the CTV video and a whole lot of hearsay to go on. #CFL
Scott Mitchell@SUNMitchell · 8m8 minutes ago
My personal take? It's nothing. Drew Tate has a unique sense of humour with the media, but it would be nice if he just explained it. #CFL

Tate should just shut his big yap and worry about completing a ball more than 15 yards downfield instead of overthrowing everything.
Questioning DD's play calling? The Stamps are leading the league in points scored...what's to question Drew?
I am really starting to dislike this dude.

Tate didn't like the question (maybe he thought it was dumb) being asked and got sarcastic with his responses. My take was he was mocking the reporter who asked the questions.

Who was the reporter? I don't recognize the voice (of course, I haven't watched CFCN news since Ken Newans and Russ Peake were still working there).
It was a pretty stupid question.
