The Quest stands upon the edge of a knife. Stray but a little, and it will fail, to the ruin of all. Yet hope remains while the Company is true. Go Flames Go!
The Sugar Cube food truck said they brought in a shipment of this to sell on the truck this spring if anyone was wanting any.

OK was anyone ever actually able to make a half decent picture on an etch a sketch? Seriously, I'd try and then fail and end up trying to make a staircase...and fail at that.
There is some absolutely great stuff in this thread. From things I can remember my older brothers having/wanting to stuff that was right in my wheel house.
Some of the items even have remakes done that I have bought or now want to get for my kids. We got my daughter Alfie a few years back for Christmas.
Surprised this one hasn't shown up yet. There were some major tournaments followed by tears, bloody noses and pinched fingers that happened at my house as a result of this game.

My Rocket Hockey, didn't have the Wayne Gretzky endorsement.
My favourite mod of the game, was to block the goals, put a bunch of plastic soldiers on the rink, and let the rocket fly. The last soldier standing, if by chance they all survived the carnage, was the winner.
Another fun mod was winding the rocket up so fast, it jumped out of the rink and whizzed around he kitchen. My dog really liked that version.

I don't think mine had the endorsement either. It was the best video for it I would find though. The last thing I want to support is Edmonton anything.

This was one of my favourites, apparently they are worth thousands if you have a boxed original version. I still have the doll and bike, lost the winder upper thingy:

Without the winder-upperer all you can do is play Ceasar's Palace parking lot and spike it like a football.

I had a friend that worked there, and said there were certain SKUs like this, when ordered everyone would come from the back and see who was ordering..As I recall, it was never as good as they had hoped...
Some of my time growing up was in the east Kootenays, where radio and tv reception absolutely sucks. Every week, we would wait up for this show on CBC, with a ghetto blaster in front of the TV, ready to hit record if something good came up. CBC was the only station that could be relied upon for clear reception.
Does anyone remember switching the antenna to get certain channels? My grandpa seemed to have a great hotspot in that valley, as he good pull of kxly, krem, and khq, and of course CBC. It was like getting cable for me, LOL. Always had the best cartoons on Saturday mornings. Scooby Doo, Plastic Man....
/flashbacks!
