Was this a prelim game? Or is this elimination for Canada?

Could just be an energy issue, rest of the Swiss team has been over there for a while and Baertschi just got there 3 days ago or so.

The teams are all separated into two groups and play a round-robin within their groups, the top records from each group progress to the elimination stage.

yeah, his +/- was a 0 for a 5-0 game so it doesn't look like he was a defensive liability.

Round robin, play every team in the group of 8, there is 2 groups. Standings from round robin determine standings for medal rounds.

Tough break for #Flames Sven Baertschi, who left Swiss game today with upper body injury. Swiss coach Sean Simpson: "It does not look good."

Dammit Sven! Ugh so many injuries for him. Remember he got knocked out first game of world juniors as well, he's never going to get to play for his country, he's cursed!

With the saying it doesn't look good I think it may be more a tissue/bone thing where it is apparent he is injured. They seem to beat around the bush with concussions. Unless Sven was on the bench thinking he was King Joffery, I don't think the coach would come out and say it doesn't look good.

I don't know who most of these players are. What a terrible roster.
