Well, that's a big shock.
Flames weren't even trying to possess the puck anymore. Just dump it out to center ice and let them come back at us, over and over and over again.
F### I hate when teams I cheer for try to protect a lead like that. Just keep playing f####ing hockey for crap sakes.

I'm usually the first to start defending refs, but good God this year they seem to be exceptionally bad. Missed calls and whatnot I can generally forgive, but blatant calls that go against the rules are becoming more and more common and it's atrocious. Just from recent Flames games, the icing call against a a shorthanded team, stopping a Flames rush because of an opposing team equipment issue (The broken blade last week) despite the rule that states the complete opposite of that call.

Little of both, but there were a couple times in the previous few minutes before the goal where the Dman had time to do something other than dump the puck to center ice.
