Is there a limit on how many emblems you can get while visiting your friend's towns? Although there are spy-camera icons above the buildings I don't receive any emblems for the last 1/4 of my daily visit.

I believe you only get a max 60 per day. After that, you don't get any.

If you don't have the hospital yet, might not be a plan to buy the Stone Cutters outfit for Dr. Hibbert. First quest involves it.
Hopefully the quest shows up again at some point so I can build the hospital and so this quest.

Anyone know an effective way to change the notification sound? It's a little embarrassing when Homer's voice goes off in public, but if I don't set the notification I forget all about it. I tried this app called Megasound but it crashes constantly and never seems to work.

The only way early on without spending real money on doughnuts is to build the cheap houses and a few of them since they generate money every few hours. Any of the bonus cash and XP items all seem to be Premium items bought with doughnuts. They can add up though. I think I currently have 104% cash and XP for all jobs.
Or cheat with the Reddit hack. They give you doughnuts and money and "stuff" like decorations and characters for free. There was a link to the request site a couple pages ago. A few of us on here (me included) have done it that way and it does make the game more fun since you can get all the characters and go through quests without waiting forever to scrape together cash.

Well you can get tons of money and donuts for free, or do it the hard way. I'd honestly just play by the rules at first, except maybe take the free donuts and skip the free money, a lot of cool characters come with donut only purchases.
