It was clearly obvious to me that some group of senior christian activists are putting these teenagers up to this and telling them how bad things probably are for them, rather than what they actually are.
The epic music track also adds to the embellishment of their first world problems.
How many atheists have you met that have tried to impose their views on you ? Most non-believers tend to have a live and let live mentality. That is to say, "you can choose to believe whatever you want, just don't force your religious beliefs on everyone else by legislating them into law".
Most, I would say. The "religion is stupid" crowd in Canada is louder than the religious crowd in my circles.
Can you show us the "religion is stupid" teenagers video that would be the oppsosite of the one below.
If you read what you quoted I said in my circles. In fact, read this thread for crying out loud. I am not religious, but the intolerance is evident here. Organized religion speaks out on the big stage more often for sure, but to suggest atheists don't try to convert is absolutely ignorant

Well, for every JW and Momoron who has come to my door wanting to chat or give me a watchtower, I have had around zero atheists come to my door for the same.
Location: In a land without pants, or war, or want. But mostly we care about the pants.

All belief systems have intolerance folded into their nature - even if you think other people should be able to believe what they want, your own beliefs are inescapably more "correct" to you because otherwise (and obviously) you would hold a different set of beliefs. That some atheists proselytize is, therefore, expected behaviour, and has no bearing on whose arguments are objectively more convincing.
Arguments based on bad reasoning deserve to be demolished. Since many religions value tradition and have such traditional, and poor, arguments throughout their fabric, this is seen as an "attack" on the religion itself. But of what worth is a belief that cannot withstand scrutiny? Would it not serve a religion better to use such criticism to reinvent itself without contradictions and obvious fallacies? That they do not do so is why atheists not only CAN attack such beliefs, but almost feel an obligation to do so - there are things that are so obviously wrong in the context of a secular society that they are impossible to bear without loud and vociferous complaint.

I hear you, but you have to tolerate a religious belief if you claim to impose the charter of rights and freedoms in our society.
No religion can stand up to logical scrutiny. That is a simple truth. The intolerance I'm speaking of is when personal attacks get leveled. Calling somebody stupid because they have faith in something that defies logic is not stupid. It may be human nature, naivete, or done other driving force, but rarely is it a lack of knowledge or understanding.
The video, is a good example of naivete, mixed with some basic straw man arguments. It is not intelligently put together. Organized religion DOES have a large vocal group of idiots and con artists, I will certainly agree to that. Poor, disadvantaged people all over the world who lack education may represent a good number of believers, but so do many extremely intelligent people. Religions persecute more than atheists too.
However, to suggest that atheists aren't also intolerant at all is ludicrous

Kind of a ridiculous statement if you think about it.
Religious people are pushing religion because that is what their religion teaches them to do. Why would an atheist bother?

It would be mean to berate a poor, disadvantaged, uneducated person for having faith in their religion.
Challenging an educated person living in the Western world about their beliefs is not mean; it'd be remiss not to. Believing in a virgin birth, that God and his son are the same person, etc. is really dumb. Why shouldn't people who believe things they know to be preposterous be called out on it?
