Nestor and Pospisil look pretty good so far. Took the first set, second set tied 1-1

Not bad eh. Nestor is 40 and he's still pretty solid.

Nestor struggling a bit, Pospisil holding things together!

Italy won their doubles match and lead 2-1, they should wrap it up tomorrow.

I'm bet this has been mentioned, but could the teams not wear different colours?

the Spaniards should have at least worn yellow shorts. Nestor is the only leftie if that helps.

Well it looks like we're gonna lose this match too bad. So now what has to happen for us to win?

In Turin, Cilic def. Seppi to even the tie at 2-2.

Now Fognini loses the first set to Dodig in the final match to decide everything.

here we go!!!!!!!!!!

AND Fognini has just won, Canada would play Italy in April if it wins one match today!

Also remember that a win today qualifies Canada for the World Group next year.

Spain has changed players.

Milos Raonic vs. Guillermo Garcia-Lopez

Not a full (small) arena in Vancouver? Sheesh. You figure a walkup crowd at least to see the best Canadian singles player in a long long time in the potential clinching Davis Cup upset could be counted on.

If they win, and since they host the next round, do they have a venue set? Put it in the Corral and it will be rocking.

I think the Corral would actually be a negative factor for us. It's fine for the qualifying pools, but might be viewed as substandard for the World Group. If we win today, I'd pretty much expect they go to Toronto.

Unless Tennis Canada thinks the altitude might give us a big advantage. Which would be nice. It's been a few years since they've been here.
