Next question:
Edited for Clarity: What explanation was given for Dr. Marvin Monroe's years of absence?

Ahhhhh. The Mysterious Case of Dr. Marvin Monroe. He is in fact alive.
However, on the Simpson's "Anniversary Special" hosted by Troy McClure one of the trivia question was "Which two beloved Simpson's characters died in the past year". The answer revealed the images of Dr. Marvin Monroe and Bleeding Gums but said that "neither of these characters were ever belved". None the less, it led to speculation that Dr. Marvin Monroe had passed on.
However, this past season Marge encountered Dr. Marvin Monroe in a book store. When asked where he had been Dr. Monroe replied "Oh I've been very sick". So the correct answer is "he was very sick".
Bit of a trick question I guess.

I flat-out refuse to acknowledge any episodes past season 10. and even at that point, i do it begrudgingly. the show is garbage now, and i don't even watch the new episodes.

Isn't it something like Seld-M-Bend, or E-Z-Break or something like that?
In regards to the stumper I posted earlier, I remember that one of the paintings that Marge competed against was a purple unicorn watching a mushroom cloud in the distance and thinking 'why?'. I can't remember the other one.

So we need a new question? I seem to continually kill this thread with questions I think are not too tough, but turn out to be stumpers. Funny how we all remember completely different details about the show.
Okay, three part question:
When the Simpsons are forced to cut back on expenses to pay for Santa's Little Helper's operation, Marge suggests a new sett of dinners.
1. What does fried chicken night become?
2. What does ham night become?
3. What does pork-chop night become?

okay ryan, once you answer a quesion you're supposed to pose a new one. But I guess I'll just have to do it for you.
What character flaw caused Sideshow Bob's plot to blow up springfield to fail.

Answer: He always goes for that retro-50s charm
Next question (easy one, from the same episode): Which former president shows up for Krusty's show from Springfield's Alkalai flats that's not Sting-y or Battery? And what does he say?

I have to admit I'm the same way. My powers are useless on these questions past season 7 as I just didn't watch them over and over with the same religious fervour...
