Looks like LSU is going to treat the Gators the same way, the Sooners beat down the Longhorns.

I hate me some LSU, but a penalty for that is lame.

I was thinking the same thing, rules are the rules but how lame was that. A punter faking a kick and successfully running a TD is extremely rare and the refs can't over look a subtle gesture. Come on. I could see if he backflipped over the goal line.

Oklahoma State 56 Kansas 7
with time to play in the 2nd quarter in Stillwater. Brandon Weeden is done for the day already.
KU is awful. I think Turner Gill is probably done.

Some kind of comeback in Lincoln. tOSU was up 27-6 in the third quarter and the Cornhuskers rattled off 28 straight points to take the lead late in the game.
Edit: game over. apparently the biggest comeback in NU history? That's surprising considering their history. Now I can wrestle control of the TV back to watch the Flames >.<

Michigan down 24-10 to NW. Robinson had a horrible first half, played like garbage 3 Int's that all result in 3 TD's for NW. So what happens in the second half, Robinson goes 12/14 throws for over 300yrd and Rushes over 100yrd. Defense doesn't allow another point. Final 42-24.
Robinson's final stats Passing 337yds 2 TD's Rushing 117yds 2 Td's.
Completly took over the game.

OU dominates a higher ranked opponent , scores more points on them , wins by a higher margin than LSU and Bama does and to top it off does this a neutral field instead of at home ... by the polls reasoning of moving LSU and Bama ahead of OU shouldn't Oklahoma now be moved above LSU and Alabama?
btw it doesnt matter if the top 3 stays the same bc LSU and BAMA play each other at the end of the year. I just think polls are dumb.

Polls are dumb. Personally, I don't think there should be one until at least week 4.
I don't think LSU is the best team in the country. I think they could be by the end of the season, but I'd give it to OU or Bama right now.

Well Bama did to Florida in Florida what LSU did to them at home ... so rankings wise maybe they should be higher.
But yeah, it doesn't matter, 2 of those 3 teams will be playing in the NC game if they don't lose.

Looking forward to going to the Montana State vs. Northern Arizona game on Saturday. The Lumberjacks beat the tar out of them in Flagstaff last year, hopefully the Cats can return the favor this weekend.
I'm excited to see the completed stadium expansion, as well.

Just throwing out some comments on games that might not be easy wins for top 25 teams.
5 OSU vs Texas. OSU should win, but Texas has the athletes to make big plays. I just don't think they can make enough to win.
11 Michigan vs MSU. Game of hate. As a Michigan fan I am worried about this one. MSU has some fantasic LB's. If Denard Robinson can get loose its over. They stopped him last year. But I have more faith in Hoke, Borges and Mattison making the calls.
This game is a coin flip. Very nervous.
16 Illinios vs Ohio State Illinois with a duel threat QB that makes big plays. It wouldn't suprise me if Ohio can keep him in the pocket. They have playmakers to win and maybe win big. Personally i want Ohio to lose.
But i would not be suprised if Ohio upsets at all.
17 Kansas vs Texas Tech I think Texas Tech wins this. Kansas rushing game is good but not great. Their passing game is terrible. Texas Tech has one of the best passing games in the conference and all the D has to do is stop a good but not great run.
19 V. Tech vs Wake. Alot of experts are back on the V.Tech band wagon because of the late win vs Miami. But Miami is not the same U. I can't get past that Clemson just walked over them and more so the V.Tech offence was completly shut down.
Wake on the other hand has a pretty nice passind game, horrible running game but that win last week over Florida State was close but impressive. I think Wakes got enough of a D to cause problems. Its in Wake. V.Tech loses a close one.
20 Baylor vs Texas A&M. I am not convinced Baylor is the real deal. Sure they have been solid all around against lesser opponents. A&M has been in every game that they lost against much better teams than Baylor.
Losing close games to ARK and OSU shouldn't be over looked.
I was lucky enough to attend 1 A&M game while on a business semininar and that Red Aggie fan base is like a 12th man.
24 Auburn vs FLA. Florida could easily win or lose this one and get back in the top 25 at the expense of Auburn. The Tigers got literally punched in the face by ARK last week. The week prior they won by some lucky late plays over SC. Florida got wiped out by LSU but honestly I think Florida wins the turnovers and steals one on the road.
Feel free to chime in.
