So at the risk of having them run out of stock early, I'll give everyone a heads up that Full Circle does buck-a-shuck 1$ oysters after 9 PM Sun-Thurs and 11 PM Fri-Sat, which means tonight is basically a weekend with 9 PM cheap oysters.
Gonna be loading up on them Pink Moons.

I went to the Coup on 17th for dinner last Monday. I was skeptical going in as it's a vegetarian restaurant but I was pleasantly surprised. I shared the tandoori cauliflower which was great. I had the Vietnamese bun sandwich as my main course and it was amazing! Really good flavour and the falafel substitute for the beef was very tasty. I would definitely recommend it and would go there again without hesitation.

My wife was there last night with her friends and wouldn't stop talking how good the ice cream there and wants me to check it out. Apparently they make their own stuff like Village.
I dont really go that side of 17th and im quite happy with usual Village ice cream trips

I haven't been to his shop on 17th, but I've bought his ice cream and macarons from Bridgeland Market. Really good stuff. I gave the macarons to clients for Christmas and they loved them.

They also sell it at Sidewalk Citizen in Kensington. If I have a craving for ice cream that's what I get.

Had the steak at Applebee's. Pretty darn good actually, better than the Keg steak I had the previous weekend.

Quick question about Catch and Oyster Bar.
going there for dinner this week with some friends but there seems to be confusion about menus.
Are both menus available in both areas? One in our group says yes, another says no. If it is separate, has it always been that way? One is saying 100% she was given both menus last time she went there.
I'm gonna call for a reservation anyways but they obviously aren't open right now. Figured I'd ask CP first.

Thanks for the reviews,
I finally made to Made by Marcus last night with the wife and I'm just blown away at how good his ice cream is. I can't believe i shunned his place in favor of Village.
Had a scoop of the Lemon curd/Blueberry ice cream and a scoop of the Espresso Flake. Just incredibly tasty ice cream. The lemon/blueberry is something i've never seen before, but whatever way he did it, its delicious!
The waffle cone was really good too. Really rich
I'll definitely have to come back to bring home a box of macrons

It is with great sadness that loungeburger announces its closure. We would like to thank the patrons, the community, suppliers and partners.
Have stopped in a few times primarily due to location to the Saddledome but was never really impressed. Thought they were always quite pricey for what you got.

I am looking for a restaurant in central Calgary for my wedding rehearsal dinner in November. Does anyone have any recommendations for a good restaurant with a private dining room/section? We will be a party of ~30.
Trying to keep the budget at $2000; $65/person kind of thing
Thank you.

This place blew it so hard. They were insanely busy when they first opened, and actually pretty decent. Then they started pulling stunts like limited menus on event nights, and basically just trying to pump tables through as fast as they could.
Their quality went down, the burger fad provided a ton of competition, and lots of people like myself never returned after some terrible service experiences on event nights.
