Good to get that first one, they have a very tough schedule to start.

Ahhh my yearly reminder MLBtv is as useless as the rest of the sports broadcasters, glad it was free otherwise I'd be alot more annoyed we're still getting blackouts in 2024

The Jays are the in-market team for all of Canada so you'll need to pay Sportsnet for those games (and Apple for the occasional game on their platform).

Great response after the lead off HR. Exactly the sort of bounceback we would want to see.
Good pitching
Good offense
Tack on runs
Big defensive stops when needed

I’m just happy the Rays aren’t going to start like 20-0 like last year (or was it even more?). Edit: it was 13-0 and the jays of all teams ended it last season.
Feels so good to beat the rays. Every. Single. Time

Rays manager left the SP in probably 2-3 hitters too long.
Schneider relived Berrios didn't get into any trouble in the first four innings and have to pull him out two games in a row.
Nice to see some clutch hitting and put team away early.

Celebrated Square Root Day

So I was little out of following the Jays when this happened, but we traded Gurriel Jr AND Moreno for Varsho, why? Like what was the strategy behind that, when Moreno hadn't had a chance to show if he could be a star yet?
In hindsight that seems like a disaster of a trade, was it seen as smart from the Jays perspective at the time?

Scrutinized pretty hard at the time. Then it was justified by saying Varsho's defensive game and war was underrated and then his offensive game and WAR took a drop last season which made it look even worse. Hopefully his offensive game gets a bump this season.

Robo umps please. That was two horrible strike calls or the Jays would be staring down a big inning.

That was two putrid strike three calls in that inning. Both of them were 3-4 inches outside the zone.
