Walker has returned to his roots as an Oilers fan-boy and I think he’s even living in Edmonton now. I have to think he’s positioning himself for a career as the next Bob Stauffer in that market.

Matthews and Marner are the greatest. It's the pressure that actually makes them great. No one has ever heard of a Huberdeau. Terrible for the hockey world that he got to 100 last night.
Then they started talking about the Ramirez signing like it was a personal insult to Toronto. I guess they thought he was already a blue jay despite playing for a different team.
|
It was honestly the first time I've ever listened to Toronto radio, and it was just god awful. I was fully expecting them to interview Matthew's chef next, or try to figure out how many pushups Marner can do.

So having the objective part of brain removed? Thoughts and prayers.

He doesn't strike me as the type of guy that could go full schill and that's a full prerequisite to cover the Oilers locally.

Maybe he could be a test subject for "Oilers Severance"
You leave Roger's Place and forget you even cover the team but can't figure out why you're wearing sweats.

Edmonton and Toronto love to get high off the smell of their own drawers, but every one knows their goaltending will have them out within 7 games each.
The two most pointless clubs to get invested in.
Their top players put up a million points for nothing perennially. It's great.

I have gotten to the bottom of this, and it is completely COVID related. Nothing insidious going on.

Both have had multiple opportunities and both declined because they love living in Calgary.

Need to petition for Sandra to be a mainstay on the FAN.
What a breath of fresh air. She has the enthusiasm of a fan as well which I like. Uses a larger vocabulary than some of the guys. Variety is nice.

Fully agreed. She's very articulate on the radio, and I enjoy listening to her whenever she's on.
