Also, it looks like all of the men's singles matches today will be straight set victories, I mean I don't expect John Millman to take a set from Fed.

I can't believe someone who serves as bad as Sharapova for years keeps winning.

Maybe Serena will stick around long enough to play her daughter in a US Open final one day.

This is the poorest Roger has served in quite a while. Good thing for him Millman isn't good enough to take advantage, but Novak is and will blow Fed off the court if Roger serves close to this level.

It's getting worse.

Fed is having trouble with his first serve. Frustrating.

35 winners, 36% first serve, 37 unforced errors. Even when he sucks Roger is still doing it poetically.

I don't think Roger is gonna be able to pull this one out of the fire, humidity is too much for him and the serve is abysmal. Millman also playing about as well as he can.

This guy obviously has no clue about the game of tennis.

Roger looks off. The serve looks like it is coming back but so many forehand volleys in to the net.

Also the body language is odd, he looks fatigued. Wonder if he is sick.

To be fair, he shouldn't have. Fed's second set was one of the worst he's ever played at a major, and he still had two set points on serve. Wins that set and it's probably a straight setter.

Interesting - someone just told me that Millman trained with Federer. Checks out. Maybe part of a reason why he is looking comfortable

Well credit to Millman, once Roger choked away the second set he played solid and clean, just let Roger hit himself out of the match and went for the winners when the time was right. Even still, as awful as Roger was he still should have grinded this one out. Roger obviously wasn't beating Novak anyway, so this was as far as he was going either way.

But at the very least we get to laugh at ESPN spending the last two days hyping the Djokovic-Federer match that will now go down with last years Nadal-Federer US Open match they hyped way too soon. Obviously a lot more retirement talk will be coming given how the last two majors ended.
