People were on his case last year, 15 games into the season. The guy had never played the position before, and was learning and adjusting in major league games, and people were ragging on him if he made a mistake.
He is showing now just how talented he is. It is why I wasn't keen on them taking him off 3rd - he is clearly showing now that he is a more than capable fielder and athlete.
Having him play 1st is fine, because it is probably a little easier on his body, but what an infield they could have with him at 3rd. Then go get a veteran hitter to play 1st.
(Him at 1st is also fine though, assuming they can find a 3rd baseman)
