Couple annoying losses in a row, need Gausman to settle it down tomorrow and also how about some run support sheesh.

What's really annoying is how winnable those games were. A clutch hit and a better bullpen decision and they're easily going for the sweep tomorrow.

Starting to question Schneider's decision making full stop.

He's going full Montoyo in my mind right now.

John Charlie MontSchneideroyo

I try to have faith in him but ever since the last game of the playoffs it's been tough.

Mostly what frustrates me is the additive effects of Schneider pulling Kikuchi after 5 with fully knowing he has a bullpen game the next day. You leave Kikuchi in for another inning you might have Nate available for an inning today, you don’t have to use Cimber either today or yesterday, you then leave Francis in for another inning today. Obviously hindsight but there’s a lot of miscues happening this series.

Schneider seems so focused on making sure that pitchers leave on a relatively high point. It’s like he manages out of fear of something going wrong.

I’d rather him err on the side of showing his pitchers that he believes in them…especially when it is good for the team as a whole to have the pitcher go a little longer.

I think all teams simply manage to analytics instead of overriding analytics when the hand is hot. There's probably an ongoing dialogue with their upper management on decisions, and from a CYA perspective they're probably looking to justify whatever they do to their management team. That's the best explanation I have for these things but there should be a different approach asked from the top down. There have been way many bad decisions recently that it's getting annoying now.

Look no further than Minnesota last night leaving their closer in for 2 innings and almost 40 pitches to win the game.

Twins get a friendly bounce on first batter and now Gausman can't get an out

We don't have the bats to overcome 4-5 runs.
We're about to be swept by a pretty mediocre team.

Yeah Guasman due to being a two pitch guy is either completely dominant or gets destroyed. Unfortunate we lost the first two games but that’s just luck. Didn’t perform in the first game in the ninth and tenth and in the second just had a bad bullpen inning. Still this Twins teams has no good hitters right now and we aren’t shutting them down. Problem is our offense can’t score more than four runs lately so it really forces pitching to be perfect.

Well usually Gausman gives us a chance to win every game but our bats fail to get him support. Now it's time for the bats to come alive and help out Gausman

Varsho and chasing a pitch upstairs, name a more iconic duo.
