Did not see that one, good enough, done, sold. Thanks!
a jacket w/ removable arms is awesome... I have one... attached with a number of mini mega-magnets. The arms include a shoulder section (which connects together), so when apart it's only 2 pieces. Perfect for those shoulder season or not so cold days. Can't recall if it's a LG. Have used just the removable arms/shoulder section with a different color vest so quite versatile.
Also have a winter GORE jacket with removable sleeves which is freekin' amazing... except it's so warm I can't wear it unless it's colder than -10C. Funny enough have never removed the arms.
For a cheap option, there's a ton of high visibility stuff I found at home depot on the weekend. Even a poncho that was under $20.
Although for cycling my main thing is I want the three pockets at the back.
Hey who knows maybe a cycling poncho could be the next big thing. Make it in full night-Glo reflective material and it’ll look like a low flying UFO all lit up.

They are a thing, although I haven't stooped to that level yet
I think with ponchos you need to forget about things like headwinds, PR's and Strava segments. It's for the person simply using their bike as transport. Although I do know one Calgary rider that will use it on their Brompton for 50km+ rides and still maintains a decent average speed.
You'd probably need decent fenders on the bike as well if you're wearing a poncho. It would likely breathe a little better if you're commuting and don't have a place to shower/change when you get to work.
Yeah, I try not to be too vain when I cycle (I squeeze into lycra so how concerned could I really be) but I'd feel like a toddler wearing poncho on the bike.
I see the poncho making sense for local errands or short commutes, something where you would typically wear "normal" clothes. For my pre-covid 20km commute I'm more comfortable showering and changing at the office, so who cares if I got wet due to rain?
Plus, the added wind resistance over that distance wouldn't be a laughing matter.
Freakin awesome weather this week for riding… if you can handle the wind. Made it out for a couple late day rides after WFH but ya gotta be prepared for those fast-falling temps starting about 539’ish and be sure to have adequate lighting and not dress in all-black.
i am hoping to get out for a psot work spin this afternoon, so i hope the wind stays down, as it has been about two weeks since i went for a ride and i know the number of rides on my summer bike are coming to an end for 2021

And so the "days of dark" have started where it's hard to find a way to ride during work-week daylight hours unless once can take an extra long lunch, or bug outa work and start riding before 4pm (but have to finish in the dark, using lights of course). Gonna have to figure out a strategy here...
It's like French MEC except everything is well stocked and 50% of the price MEC would charge. Everything is IKEA style in-house brands. No frills.
Lots of high vis gear, tons of road bikes. Less stock for MTB at the moment. Thinking of converting one of their Triban RC500 into a gravel bike. It's a touring bike with a ton of bikepacking mount points.

Any other decent alternatives to Zwift? It's about a $20 a month subscription? It adds up quickly when the Wahoo Kickr Core itself is $1299 and that's the cheapest model in the range.
