My face is a bum!

How do you know when an investment may be a bad idea? When people who doing typically care much about finance start talking about it.
I remember my mom talking about wanting to buy gold as a kid.
My elementary teacher talking about Bre-X.
No better sign of a bubble than when the fringe of the herd feels they need in.

What would the coin “do” that owning the stock doesn’t ? (Companies basically already tried this with utility coins and the SEC was not happy and stopped it )
Crypto having a bad morning ! I blame this thread

I envision block chain could allow direct trading of a stock like currency without going through an intermediary.
If fiat and crypto are similar, then I'm saying the future might have instances of people wanting to go back to commodity back currencies.
Relatively liquid isn't completely liquid. Some people hate waiting for their funds to take a few days to clear.

Looks like it has had a decent pullback, which some analysts predicted before the halving. I thought it may not occur with all the ETFs. So, if you believe in it, probably a good time to buy, if you don't believe in it, good time to criticize it.

Sam Bankman-Fried got 25 years. I guess the lesson is, you still can't commit a Ponzi scheme, but if you nest it inside of a larger Ponzi scheme, your punishment will be lighter.

If Sam serves the entire 25 years, I would be surprised. He probably ends up in some luxurious prison.

No one is keeping score. Plus you were silent since the pullback until the price came back. Like usual. Hey you made a good bet, proud of you. But your bragging to stroke your ego is why people think you're grating in this thread. I look forward to anything of value you can add, you must know more about crypto then you let on.

Can someone explain why, in a time of moderate inflation that’s causing significant chunks of the population to lose their minds, we would ever want to replace fiat currency with something a billion times more volatile?

oh STFU
You make a bet you pay the #### up or get called out...can you imagine if I lost the crypto bet
Also, I came in before the price bump to tell you guys it was coming, go look...that is literally how the bet came about. Day to day price is irrelevant to me anyway, 5 years, 10 years....this 95K will look cheap.

I don't think he can.
Also Dino your prediction was an easy one before the halving. And there will be a spike, likely 6 months after the halving based on history. But miners are concerned and holding off on some project until after as they are not sure, and if there isn't a spike a lot of interest will drop off.
Either way, the price will comeback down to the edge of profitability of the miners and hover there until the next event. Where profitability is for them? around $60 to 90k?... as if it drops below, miners will shut down, lowering supply raising the price, which the cycle will continue and hence hoover at a small margin for them. So don't expect a big boom to last long. But over the long scale it'll go up, but there will be a point where it is no longer of interest.

I have far and away the best crypto record on this thread, people can chose who they want to listen to
Crypto millionaire from 10k investment or butthurt clowns that have been wrong over and over again

I have posted in this thread through ups and downs...if you are still talking #### you are just jealous
Beauty of this thread is it will only get better over time
"$1300 peak bubble"
surely when something 90x's "peak bubble" some people could admit that were wrong. I mean two months ago crypto was dead because of AI according to dear leading of the bum brigade Jammies and all the usual suspects thanked it, we have post history you know.
It's still cheap boys, get on the trolley. I tried to help you but you know what they say about leading a horse to water.

The funny part is I agree with you, I've been invested in crypto for years after sitting on the sidelines watching for years before that think i should but not understanding it at that point. But I guess the first rule of crypto is always brag about your crypto.
All I'm saying is you sound like a real tool every time you post in this thread. I hope you can actually take this criticism and note I'm not jealous of you,I am impressed with your bet, but I think you're being an asshat and the fact we are on the 'same' side actually makes me embarassed to have you on the team.

Oh, dino is raging again. 3 rageposts this time. Fun!
For a guy who's "retired" he sure is angry all the time. Kind of like someone who sold their crypto too early would be.
