Yup. A day at the park for Novak.

I had to look through Gasquet's Instagram because I wanted to see if there was a backstory to his hair...wow does he ever get a lot of abusive comments. Insane.

Anybody else up watching late night tennis from NY? This de Minaur - Cilic match has been phenomenal.

Cilic comes from two sets down to win the match - Cilic was up 5-2 in the 5th set and de Minaur made a valiant effort, but just came up short.

That was great! I was hoping it would break the record for latest match at US Open.

Cilic is not somebody I would normally watch especially since he was playing an unranked player, but I was thoroughly enjoying that match. Great tennis and great atmosphere.

I love US Open night matches for the atmosphere.

Watched some of Maria's match last night against Ostapenko. And yeah, as I continue to reiterate, the women's game is in massive, massive trouble. Maria probably gets double bageled if she plays like that against Serena, yet she easily beat Ostapenko. I can see Serena winning four more majors, having another kid, then coming back and winning two or three more. It's also why we probably don't give up on Genie, the women's game is so pathetic she just needs two great weeks and she could win a major.

Watching Thiem - Anderson and while Thiem is playing quite well, Anderson is down a couple of levels from where he was against Shapo.

Great match from Nadal/Basilashvilli! He was a tough opponent for Rafa today.

How many aces in total do you think we see this afternoon between Milos and Isner?

Is it just me or is Milos getting to more balls that he used to? The big man is slimmer and moving pretty good.

First set ace tally: 8.

Strong opening set from Milos. I hate to use this term, but it was business-like. When your first serve is 93%, really good things happen.

Isner returned well that service game and earns an early break.
