heh that's the game structure. People build up Gaudreaus but aren't sure why, kind of scared that having too many is no good. Then they become important for spending. Then they go out of play.

Girly, is the death match more of a "set time" one, or can it be played over time?

My schedule isn't great over the next 3 or so days. Today is my girlfriends birthday, tomorrow I'll have to work throughout the day, and then Sunday is superbowl / family time. I'd be glad to get started if I can just check in here and there, but I'm not sure if I can secure a block of time right now.

Also, I have no Gs to drop down, so there!

I've really enjoyed how you've all played the game so far. The moving of Gaudreau's from one person to another to another has been pretty amusing. Means you're all thinking hehehehe.

Going forward Gaudreaus will no longer play a factor. We have 164 Gaudreaus. The Gaudreaus that were taken away during the losing of death matches will be put back in to make a total of 210. I will donate to the winner's charity $210.

Starting in the next main match, you'll be all on equal footing. There will be no Gaudreaus and no Gios. In final 5, final 4 and final 3 the bottom two players automatically go to the death match. The final 2 will be a best of 5 death matches.

In all seriousness, I think the donation idea is great, and I'll give it to either Kid Sport or the Heart and Stroke foundation.

As for the death match, Monday night around 7 or 8 MST is likely best for me.

I really like the donation idea as well.

Have mine picked out as well. Unlocking Potential provides help for disadvantaged people in Calgary and area with things like completing GED's, running mentoring programs for youth with athletes from post-secondary schools around town, and getting patents involved in their kids schooling with the F&ST program.

They are also involved in programs at Louise Dean School for pregnant and parenting teens, which helps them complete high school, something they couldn't likely achieve prior to this program existing.

Programs like these have a very high social return on investment, and I like to support them whenever I can. My niece just finished a stint as a volunteer for baby cuddling and my nephew was actually a participant in the Athletes Mentoring Program a few years back.
