Lol, I only knew about that when we started planning our trip and was reading up on the various places. Apparently they shot all down the Oregon coast.

The kid and I went out to Ya Ha Tinda yesterday - great day. On the way home, right at dusk, came across this guy and another, just a few hundred feet apart - up northwest-ish of Dogpound, maybe around the Elkton Valley area. My camera is just about pooched, so pictures don't always turn out very well. But, I'm happy enough with this one. ETA: bc-chris gave me a hand with some editing, as much like my camera, my laptop is just about pooched and everything looks like mud to me.

Lucky shot... I literally have not seen an owl in the wild, ever. With or without a camera in my hands...
