Embarrassing series. And to top it off that bum Pham gets both RBIs today.

That guy only posts negative stuff after a loss. It's hilarious. Most of the time his criticism doesn't even make sense.

Look at it this way the Jays definitely didn't have their best bats today but on those brutal calls they were not getting baited into swinging at them. I'd much rather they get screwed over by the Ump than go against their fundamentals going forward. We know this team can hit any pitching but when the strike zone is at your ankles there isn't much you can do when they are trying to get into hitters counts.

A. Let the guy who clowned your org beat you
B. Don’t put your self in a position to throw one high and hard at him at any point in the game.
Pretty gutless no?

Why are you even watching? According to you the "season was lost" a couple weeks ago because they didn't trade for a different closer.
Funny though that we haven't a peep from you about Hoffman while he's been absolutely SHOVING for the last two weeks since the Dodger game.
Fans like you are so irritating. Just like a toddler who does nothing but whine all the time.

Well I guess we’ll see in about 50 days if this version is different or if these Bluejays are gonna Bluejay. A game like today make me question their character

I still don’t understand the type of fan that is always miserable and seems to dislike the team they cheer for
Such an odd way to be

A combined split with the Ranger/Pirates is a lot less impressive than Dodgers/Cubs, but does keep them on pace for 91 wins if they can go 500 the rest of the way. And it's starting to seem like 91 might be enough for the AL east this year. The Red Sox have fallen off and NYY are now in 2nd, but the Jays have the tie-breaker with them sewn up. For NYY to make 92 wins they need 24 more in 37 games, which is 0.650 baseball or a 105 win pace. It isn't impossible but isn't likely either, and if the Jays can win even one or two extra games better than 500 they almost certainly put it away.
They've also opened up a 4.5 game lead on the Astros, which is good as that wild card round bye seems pretty important to me. Hopefully they can go four out of six combined against the Marlins/Twins. Would be good to take advantage of weaker teams, especially as the Yankees have a fairly week schedule (eg 7 games vs CWS)

All teams get expanded rosters in September which is important for the Jays as they are one of the teams that will benefit greatly from being able to have all their depth available. They just to stay healthy!
I think I'm with everyone else with the question of what does Bieber have left in him!?

News flash, odds are they're not gonna win the series.
But they're a top 5 team with a top 5 offense and top 5 defense. They're bullpen is top 10. The only real weakness is the rotation but Sherzer is really rounding into form and Bieber is about to make his first start. They have a 4-5 game lead in the AL East with less than 40 games to go and a legit shot at finishing top 2 in the AL with a bye from the wild card round.
But yeah, instead of just enjoying it let's just piss and moan every time they lose a game.
At least you've hedged your bets well so that if they do get knocked out in the playoffs you can be front and center with your "see, I told you so. Look at meee I was right to be a miserable piece of crap the whole time"

There’s a lot to question about this team (aging rotation, power in the lineup, whether or not we have a top end closer) but the one thing that they’ve proven time and time again is that they have character.
Their bats were bad today but they’ve scratched and clawed their way back into games against great pitching staffs from contributions up and down the order. They are among league leaders in comeback victories. They have had so many guys step up in big moments.

Like most teams in MLB, the Jays are much worse on the road than they are at home. Plus they seem to really give better starters a run for their money and no show against turd pitchers on the road. It's kinda weird but it seems to be their MO for the season. Hopefully they can keep the division lead and also stay ahead of Seattle/Houston. A bye and home advantage will be huge for this team.

Yup if you don't win the world series the whole season is a failure and the Blue Jays are going to Blue Jay
This team has showed character in games against big division rivals all season.
They lost a close game against team that really means nothing and doesn't even play in the same league, why risk a suspension by throwing at Pham, he means nothing, he's irrelevant.

I dunno dude. The Jays lost a series to the lowly As right before the ASB and I hear the league almost forced them to forfeit the rest of the season. Real contenders don't lose series like that. It's really embarrassing.

Not going to win every series. But they should not lose 2 or 3 series in a row.
All things assumingly staying on track, they need, need, to get that first round bye in the AL.
The pressure to not choke after previous playoffs and then losing the top 2 spot, and the subsequent energy spent to (probably) get through the first best of 3 round series, will leave them easier pickings in the divisional round.
