If Taylor starts I could see the Jets having a bit of a "Screw Aaron Rodgers" game.

But I think it's doubtful the Chiefs beat the Broncos because I don't see why any starters would be playing.

Also in regards to the Chiefs it looks like Rashee Rice has hinted that he might be able to return in the playoffs...

Suddenly what was a weakness for the Chiefs all season becomes a strength again if they have Hopkins, Brown, Rice, Worthy, Smith Shuster, Kelce etc as potential receivers. Lots of different looks and schemes open up with that group.

Cincinnati beat one team who has at least 7 wins this year. They nearly lost to Denver too in a game they had mostly controlled. Even if they got in, Buffalo will handle them. At least Payton might concoct a tricky game plan to challenge the Bills. The Bengals are just see if Burrow Chase and Higgins can overcome poor coaching and game planning. Cinci vs Buffalo would be more watchable though.

Cinci in the playoffs and keeping Zac Taylor helps teams like K.C, Baltimore, and Buffalo long term since they might have the best QB, and at worst one who can go toe to toe with the likes of Jackson, Allen, and Mahomes.

Starting Taylor definitely increases the Jets odds by a lot. And late afternoon game will be colder and the Dolphins are pussies with the cold. Again, not impossible, but I would guess the Jets don't put much effort in.

I'm not necessarily worried about the Bengals, but Burrow is the type of player that can take over a game, especially with some of the weapons he has, and Buffalo can get in to trouble when they sit back and try to play hero vs. hero as they've tried in the past against Mahomes, and we've seen this year against the Rams and Lions. Josh Allen is good enough to win you a game by himself too (Lions game) but it's just not safe (or good for my blood pressure).

It's also why avoiding the Chargers and getting the Steelers will be preferred. Herbert is elite, and while Russ is not as washed as Denver Russ, he's still nothing to actually fear.

The Chargers also have a competent coach now which is a bigger factor. Not some dummy who's going to let Herbert whip piss missiles around with a 27 point lead and keep stopping the clock. Herbert has talent but I'm still seeing a guy who can make touch throws. If he's not heaving it as hard as he can...he doesn't seem to have any other trick than running.

Lions are gonna need to generate some takeaways if they want to win. Their defence is clearly shredded by injuries.

Feels like the Lions should all-out blitz every single snap. Cause this way at least you're either getting sacks/turnovers or giving up quick scores and keeping your defense fresh for when you'll need the one stop in the fourth to win, while exhausting the other team's D by having a time of possession difference of like 4 to 1.

Both teams are decimated by injuries. This game would have been unreal if both squads were healthy.

I agree but to see both of them healthy go at it again would have been a treat.

Schedule it for week one next year then, not many teams are fully healthy in week 17 of any year.

Imagine being told three years ago that the three best QBs in the NFC would be Jared Goff, Sam Darnold and Baker Mayfield. But here we are.
